"Something about Anna" by her Grandma Liza.

Anna Clare PiersonThere was something about Anna Clare...She was tiny, yet she held within her a depth that went far beyond our mortal comprehension.

Anna was rarely “outward” in her exchanges; it was deeper than that...more essential than surface. There was something about Anna Clare that engaged us to her.

Holding her meant never wanting it to end. Holding her meant wanting to experience her, cuddle her, stay near to her.  Anna    drew    people    IN.

Karrie and I have seen this phenomenon over and over again...people holding on to her...not wanting to give up her presence; not wanting to let go lest they forfeit the intense unnamable experience of Anna Clare.  It was always a “battle” regarding who would get to hold her next and how long they could have the privilege.

Holding Anna felt like coming home.

As I write this about this I have another vision of being held by the Holy Spirit and actually merging with it.  Holding Anna Clare felt like that.  She felt closer than your skin, closer than your breath, closer than your heart.  She imbued herself in you. As you held her you felt infinity, and you felt a part of it.  You knew that you were not alone and that you are guided by LOVE every step of the way. There was something about Anna Clare. Anna was LOVE.

Being with Anna meant feeling Beloved.  She opened our hearts to feel the love God has for us; she literally made us step outside of ourselves and thus feel our own hearts.  Anna brought us to our own preciousness through her preciousness...... Anna was belonging herself.  SHE REMINDED US WE ARE ALL BELOVED.

She didn’t have the limitations most of us develop as mortals....she was free of ego, free of judgment, free of wants or fear, free of insecurity, need to succeed, need to belong, need to be revered. Anna was reverence.

Anna never looked back with regret or forward with trepidation because there was no such thing as past or future. There was nothing but the present to Anna....which of course is nothing but the TRUTH. The fact that many of her physical and cerebral senses were limited only enhanced her sense of being. Anna was just PURE DIVINITY.

The faction of God’s Love is very soft, very tender and indeed it is incredibly veiled. God’s  voice can be heard only when one is void of worldly distraction...when we suppress what we hear and see... listen through our faith instead of our ears,  through our hearts instead of our brains. Anna was born with that gift...which made her ever so much stronger than most of us.

She never stepped away from her trials...she lived them body and spirit with humility, trust, and grace.  And because Anna did that, she kept us standing firm in our own trials, assuring us that there was peace beyond our anguish....the peace God gave her...the bread of life Anna had been given...she shared with us... and it fed our hearts.

Anna’s greatest fulfillment unquestionably came through the giving to others. God gave her immeasurable grace in which to live her life.  This is a gift he passed on to us through her if we choose to let it shine through us. Now Anna’s eternal life will live on through us as we choose to take the bread she sent us, break it, and give it to one another.

There was something about Anna Clare and it is now Thank God, something within us all.
