Parent and Me Program |
Weekly parent meetings with music, art, and learning activities for both parents and children. There will be rotating speakers on different topics related to blindness, low vision, parenting topics like discipline and physical and emotional health for the whole family. Groups are every Friday at FBC's main campus location 1235 East Harmont Drive Phoenix, AZ 85020.
For the month of May groups will run the 4th, 11th, and 18th, from 9:30-11:00am. Please RSVP to Ursula at 602.317.5761 or uwarden@seeitourway.org so that appropriate accommodations can be made for staff and refreshments.
No group the 25th due to Memorial Day Weekend.
Groups and additional locations will be added as the need grows.

SHARP - Lock-in |
May 19 & /20 -- End of the Year Lock-in (All Ages)
On May 19th, we will have our annual end of the year lock-in. This is a great opportunity for you to hang out with all of your SHARP friends before summer starts. The program will begin at 5:00pm on Saturday at our Central FBC location. There will be the usual lock-in activities, like Midnight Madness Bingo and descriptive movies. You will need to be picked-up by 9 a.m. Sunday morning. If you receive regular Saturday program transportation, it will be provided for the lock-in as well. Dinner and breakfast will be provided but you can bring snacks if you want.
Sign up Deadline: May 12th
Event Time: 5 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday
Cost: $10.00
Bring: a change of clothes, toiletries, snacks (if you want), sleeping bag or blankets & pillow
