Speech Language Pathologist

Term: Full and/or part time contracts available

The Foundation for Blind Children has opportunities for Speech Language Pathologists in our early intervention program, preschool classrooms and K-2 program. Locations include north central Phoenix, West valley, Chandler, and/or home-based.

This opportunity includes working in a highly rated family-friendly provider agency with experienced and dynamic multi-disciplinary staff serving children who are visually impaired and other varied abilities and challenges.

We offer competitive contract rates for part time contractors.

Benefits for staff therapists include:

  • Full-time status at 30, 35, or 40 hours per week.

Qualifications:

  • Appropriate state licensure in specific profession
  • Minimum degree needed for certification varied according to when individuals have graduated
  • Strong preference for past experience working with children with disabilities
  • We provide training in the specifics of vision loss and the impact vision has development and the delivery of quality services
